Frequently Asked Questions
-
Your first visit is all about you. You’ll spend about 60–90 minutes one-on-one with your provider. We’ll take time to listen to your story, review your medical history, discuss your symptoms and goals, and create a personalized plan for your care.
Follow-up visits typically last 45–60 minutes, allowing for meaningful conversations and adjustments to your plan as needed. -
We are an out-of-network practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly. Why? Because this allows us to provide truly individualized care without being limited by what insurance companies will cover.
When a provider is in-network, appointment times and treatment options are often dictated
by insurance reimbursement guidelines—not by what’s best for the patient. By staying out-of-network, we can spend quality, one-on-one time with you and create care plans based solely on your needs.
That said, you may still be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance provider. After each visit, we can provide you with a Superbill, a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement or to apply toward your deductible.
We believe in transparency, empowerment, and care that works for you not for insurance companies.

We partner with trusted local labs and imaging centers to ensure high-quality testing at transparent rates. We’ll help you order the appropriate labs and interpret your results during your follow-up appointment.
-
Any lab work or imaging that we order will be billed through your insurance by the outside lab or imaging facility performing the service. While Anew Health and Vitality is an out-of-network clinic, most lab and imaging centers are in-network with major insurance providers.
This means your lab or imaging charges will be processed directly by your insurance company according to your specific plan’s coverage and benefits. If you have questions about what’s covered, we always recommend checking with your insurance provider prior to testing.

Not at this time. We believe in providing hands-on, personalized care that’s best delivered in person.
While virtual visits may be an option in the future, all appointments at Anew Health and Vitality are currently held in our office so we can give you the most attentive, comprehensive care possible.
